Have Questions?

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept Medicare and automobile insurance for car accident cases.  For all other insurance providers, we do not bill directly, so we will provide you with the needed paperwork so you can work with them for reimbursement.

What is Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression?

It is a gentle stretching of the neck or low back to help rehydrate and restore normal health and function to the spinal discs, without addictive drugs, needles, or surgery.

Is Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression a new thing?

Contrary to a lot of advertising you may see, NSSD is not a new technology.  The first NSSD table was invented in 1991, and multiple variations have come out since then, each with their own functions and benefits.  At our clinic, we utilize the AccuSpina table, which in our opinion is the best on the market; when used properly.

Is Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression safe?

Yes, NSSD has proven not only effective but very safe as well.  Possible side effects from NSSD include muscle spasms, tight muscles, or mild soreness.  The same cannot be said for drugs, injections, or surgery which all carry greater risk than NSSD.

Is Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression painful?

In rare cases some patients may experience temporary pain, however, the vast majority of our patients love the pain relief they experience during treatment on the NSSD table.  One huge advantage of NSSD over surgery is that you don’t have any downtime.  You can continue to work, play and live your life while coming in for treatments.

Can a spinal disc actually improve or heal?

Spinal discs are a unique part of the body, in that they have a limited direct blood supply and are under constant pressure and use.  For this reason, healing is a very slow process and many doctors believe that healing is not even possible at all.  However, it is possible, given the right circumstances and sufficient time.

How can you help me get relief from my back pain?

We employ many different methods to help our patients get relief from neck and back pain.  What you need depends on what the problem is.  Our first step is to identify the root cause of your pain.  Once identified we can sit with you to discuss possible treatment options and costs.

How much does Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression cost?

Compared to other common interventions, NSSD is one of the most affordable options.  The overall cost will depend on the severity of your particular case, but generally involves 24-40 visits to our clinic, at a cost of only $125 per visit.  Each visit includes NSSD, ice, cold laser therapy, and any other modalities needed at the time.

What makes Disc Centers of America different?

We know you have options when it comes to your healthcare, so why choose us?  Having fancy equipment is worthless if you don’t know how to use it properly.  Dr. Taylor and staff have been thoroughly trained and certified so they can deliver the best results possible.  We don’t have pushy sales staff, nor will we ever pressure you into care.
